Solutions

Every service, with foresight

Foreseer monitors your whole stack and derives insights in three tiers — from availability essentials to predictive forecasts.

Insight tiers Core availability & health essentials Advanced deeper performance & efficiency Predictive forecasts with lead time

Elasticsearch

Search & analytics
  • Core Cluster health going yellow/red, JVM heap pressure, node disk watermarks, stuck ILM policies, failed snapshots.
  • Advanced Thread-pool rejections, hot-node heap/CPU outliers, unused indices, slow indexing, stalled transforms.
  • Predictive Heap-saturation ETA, shard-count growth, search-latency drift and per-node degradation forecasts.

PostgreSQL

Relational database
  • Core Instance down, connection saturation, replication lag or broken streaming, inactive slots retaining WAL.
  • Advanced Long idle-in-transaction sessions, lock contention, cache-hit ratio, table bloat, slow queries, autovacuum lag.
  • Predictive Txid-wraparound and connection-saturation forecasts — days of lead time before an emergency vacuum.

MySQL

Relational database
  • Core Instance down, connection saturation, replica lag and stopped IO/SQL replication threads.
  • Advanced InnoDB buffer-pool hit ratio, slow queries, deadlocks, table-lock contention, temp-disk tables.
  • Predictive Connection-saturation, data-size and replication-lag forecasts.

Redis

In-memory store
  • Core OOM risk, eviction onset, connection saturation, replication & persistence health, unexpected restarts.
  • Advanced Hit-ratio drops, memory fragmentation, blocked clients, Lua-script errors, hot-shard load skew.
  • Predictive Time-to-OOM against maxmemory, keyspace-growth and replica-drift forecasts.

Logstash

Ingest pipeline
  • Core JVM heap pressure, queue depth, and dead-letter-queue growth (silent data loss).
  • Advanced Per-pipeline lag, plugin error rates, and persistent-queue disk fill.
  • Predictive Queue-fill and heap-exhaustion forecasts before events start dropping.

JVM

Java runtime
  • Core Sustained heap pressure, critical GC pauses, a recent OutOfMemoryError.
  • Advanced Thread-count anomalies, metaspace pressure, live deadlock detection, GC-frequency drift.
  • Predictive Heap and metaspace exhaustion ETAs from the regression trend.

Docker

Containers
  • Core OOM-killed containers, restart loops, and sustained memory pressure.
  • Advanced CPU throttling, blkio saturation, and network errors per container.
  • Predictive Per-container memory-exhaustion forecast.

Nginx

Web server
  • Core Down/unreachable and connection saturation.
  • Advanced Request spikes and upstream connection-state imbalance.
  • Predictive Peak-capacity forecast against your traffic trend.

Apache

Web server
  • Core Down, and worker/scoreboard saturation.
  • Advanced Request spikes and busy-vs-idle worker imbalance.
  • Predictive Worker-exhaustion forecast before requests start queuing.

PHP-FPM

App runtime
  • Core Pool saturation, pool down, and max-children reached.
  • Advanced Slow-request build-up and listen-queue backlog.
  • Predictive Worker-saturation forecast.

Disk & system

Host fundamentals
  • Core Filesystem fill and inode exhaustion, on every host.
  • Advanced Disk IO saturation, CPU saturation, network errors, swap thrashing.
  • Predictive The date a volume runs out, plus a host memory-exhaustion forecast.

Any process

Universal fallback
  • Core Process missing, restart detected, restart loops (≥3 restarts in 15 min).
  • Advanced RSS memory pressure, CPU saturation, and file-descriptor exhaustion vs limits.
  • Predictive RSS-regression memory-exhaustion forecast — for anything you run.

Monitor anything — even services we don’t have a dedicated analyzer for

Point Foreseer's process monitor at any process by name or pattern — your own app, a worker, a daemon, a queue consumer. You get liveness, restart and restart-loop detection, and RSS / CPU / file-descriptor pressure against its limits, plus an RSS-regression memory-exhaustion forecast. It's the universal safety net for the long tail of your stack — no per-service analyzer required.

Who runs Foreseer

Search & relevance teams

Keep Elasticsearch clusters healthy — catch shard-allocation stalls, heap pressure and disk watermarks before queries slow.

Database teams

Stay ahead of Postgres and MySQL replication lag, connection saturation and txid wraparound, with the full primary→replica topology mapped for you.

Caching & sessions

Know the exact moment Redis writes are at risk from OOM or eviction — and the policy change that prevents it.

Lean platform teams

No dedicated SRE? Foreseer is the on-call engineer you do not have to hire — quiet until it matters, specific when it does.

Agencies & MSPs

Manage many customers’ infrastructure with per-VM, role-scoped access. Give each project manager exactly the VMs they own.

Self-hosted shops

Run your own stack on AWS, GCP, Azure or bare metal — cloud-grade foresight without shipping data to a black box.
